This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are dedicated to providing vocational and independent living skills training to our adult students, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in various aspects of life. Currently, our students are engaged in hands-on training at their worksite, where they actively participate in leaf sweeping duties. In an effort to enhance their efficiency, teamwork, and overall skill set, we are seeking a donation of a compact leaf blower. The compact design is crucial, as it will enable our students to easily transport the equipment on the city bus to and from their worksite.

By incorporating a leaf blower into our training program, our students will not only experience increased efficiency in their tasks but will also learn valuable teamwork skills as they collaborate to maintain a clean and orderly environment.

Additionally, mastering the operation of a leaf blower is an essential chore that aligns with independent living skills, providing our students with a practical and transferable skill set.
