Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students absolutely love learning and exploring new topics eveyday. I have a group of 24 students who come to school every day ready to ask questions! In order to help them develop their full potential and accommodate their individual learning styles and needs, I incorporate a variety of learning strategies to help them become blooming learners. As a first year teacher, I'm thankful to have a great group of students. They inspire me everyday to be a better person and teacher.
My Project
These chapter books will be a great addition to our library. All my students are English Language Learners and these books will be great for read-aloud. Also, as ELL my students would greatly benefit from the HUE Pro Camera. With this camera, I will be able to project a common text so that students can practice their accurate and fluent reading.
I will be able to practice reading comprehension skills as they discuss a common text.
Students will be more engaged in our lessons as this tool can be use for writing, reading, math, science and social studies. During writing workshops we are going to be able to screenshot before and after writing. During math I will be able to project the work examples from the students' book. The students will be able to work a problem in front of the class and keep everyone engaged in learning.
