Help me give my students blocks and markers to spark their creativity and imagination.

Have you ever talked to a five year? My classroom is filled with 5 year olds and a myriad of questions about every aspect of life-both inside and outside the classroom. My students inquisitiveness and passion for knowledge allows me to expand their creativity into unchartered worlds.
Many of my students come from nontraditional family structures, such as single parent households, grandparents rearing children, or neither parent in the picture.
Additionally, over 50% of our Kindergarten students have at least 2 siblings. Requesting additional supplies throughout the year is extremely burdensome and not feasible for many families we serve. So I want them to realize that they are not limited to just what they have seen. They can experience so much through reading.
Our Title I school does not limit our student expectations. At our school, we encourage GREAT MINDS TO GROW. We strive for excellence in our behavior, academic course work, and giving back to others.
The items I am requesting have a bright future in my class. These resources will be used daily in various subjects across our STEAM curriculum. Blocks and markers are simple tools we use daily to connect to stories we read, math concepts like spacial reasoning and computation, as well as, social studies communities and the scientific process in science.
These resources will allow students to design communities, illustrate stories, and record their scientific research on butterflies!
More specifically, the blocks bring to life the designs on paper and allow students to further create and formulate ideas. In my class, we do weekly mini-science projects. These tools will assist in recording data, creating charts and graphs, while building their critical thinking skill set.
