Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a diverse group of third grade students from a small farming community in northern California. We do not allow our financial backgrounds or differences to hold us back from achieving our goals. We are part of the No Excuses University program.

Our public school has a large number of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Many students are not able to bring much needed supplies from home in order to be successful in school. We enjoy reading, writing, doing math, as well as learning about science, history, and technology.

My Project

Our students will be heading back into the classroom at the beginning of January. My grade level would like to keep all of our students as safe as possible. We need to protect our students and our staff from illness, such as COVID-19. These sneeze guards will add an extra layer of protection.

Our students' and teachers' safety is very important.

By having these sneeze guards in place, they will significantly help minimize exposure to unnecessary illnesses. We need to make multiple projects in order to get them for our entire grade level.
