Help me give my students an opportunity to explore technology standards through coding their own class robots, Sphero Bolt. We have one classroom Bolt and the students eagerly await their turn to write and execute new codes!

My Students

My kindergarten through sixth grade students are enthusiastic learners, especially when it comes to projects that are infused with technology! With the help of Project Based Learning activities the excitement and energy will be real for all to see with our 6 newly added iPads to our STEAM class.

My students typically enter the classroom ready to explore, create, share and produce.

I have seen so many talented writers, producers, artists and scientists find their voices and their "I can do it!" using technology as a tool. My favorite part of each class is when I say "Clean up time" and I can hear the groans.

My Project

Students in my STREAM class are learning to master their standards in Technology by coding our classroom robot, Sphero Bolt. While using Block Coding the students can see the Javascript translation as their beginner programming and coding skills progress.

The students wait excitedly for their turn with programming our Sphero Bolt - if we had 2 more Bolts the wait time would be lessened and the hands-on learning would be so much greater!

The work being done in our STREAM class is exciting and preparing our students for their world of ever-changing and exciting advances in technology. Donations will help our students to program Bolt to navigate around, explore, illuminate pre-designed and original graphics, speak and more!
