I teach in an urban, high poverty school. I have a room full of precocious, adorable, growing, and hungry fifth graders.
Everyone one of my students has amazing potential, and it is my goal to do everything I can possibly do to push them as far as possible.
My students are funny. They are adorable. They love Minecraft, watching YouTube videos, and playing Xbox. They would rather be jumping on a trampoline or swimming, than sitting in the classroom. They are ten and eleven year olds. They are just like other kids you know; cousins, neighbors, even your own kids.
My Project
"Mrs. F, do we have any tissue?" This is one of the most common questions I get from my students. I have to send them down the hall to the bathroom to wipe their nose on the stiff, thin, brown paper towels.
Help keep my students healthy!
With this project, my students will have access to tissue, hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and paper towels in the classroom. These materials will help keep the viral and bacterial germs in check. The students can keep their noses wiped, hands clean, desks clean, and even clean up messes appropriately.
Bless You! Bless You! Bless You, for helping support my students.
