My students are energetic, excited, fun, risk-takers that love to learn. We are well into our journey for this 2018-2019 school year and these students are very special. The students in my class are helpful, caring, and respectful individuals who enjoy learning.
Our school is a Title l funded school with over 500 students.
The staff is dedicated to making our school the best possible place for our kids. The kids and families understand the value of their education and they love coming to school to learn.
My Project
Receiving a blender for our classroom will help our outdoor education program tremendously. We will be able to harvest our produce and then learn how to mix the produce with different quantities using math measurements to make delicious smoothies.
A blender would give our students an opportunity to eat the produce from our garden in a different way.
Students are used to eating the produce right out of the garden and don't make a lot of meals. A blender will help students see the potential of the garden in a different way. We will be able to implement our berries, spinach, carrots, and other produce to make different smoothies and soups.
