My Students

My students are special education students in the early learning support classroom. They are supported by hard working families who want the very best for them! My goal is to give them equal access to opportunities that general education students have as well.

My class is made up of students who have been identified as autistic, learning disabled, intellectually disabled, and other health impairments.

Throughout my 30 plus years of teaching, I have watched students grow and transition into general education classrooms. I am constantly exploring ways to bring access my classroom.

My Project

This project will help students work independently with technology using ST MATH, Lexia, and Starfall. These programs allow my students to learn at their own pace. Each student in my class will have a one-to-one experience. Our students are very excited about using devices to learn math and literacy.

By having the Fire tablets, each student receives specialized instruction based on his or her needs.

When our students are engaged in technology, we can pull small groups to better assist them in meeting their IEP goals. Your donations to our classroom will help students enjoy learning and meet their goals.
