In the world today, access to technology equates to opportunity. In my classroom my goal is to offer as much opportunity for my students as possible. My students, a diverse group of learners from many cultural and language backgrounds, love to learn, and technology is a gateway to learning!
My students come to our Title I school from families who have often just moved to the United States.
They come from many socioeconomic strata and represent a wide-breadth of learning needs and styles.
My school embraces, above all else, the process of learning through doing and the benefit that tackling real-world problems in the classroom can have on students' learning process. The teachers at my school use a variety of strategies to engage students in this process of inquiry, which makes our school a very special place. We are a community, but we need resources to succeed.
My Project
My students will use this class set of headphones and headphone splitters to aid in their learning in a blended or computer-based learning setting. With the headphones they will be able to watch and interact with digital content and with the splitters, they will be able to do it collaboratively!
With better technology, opportunities for better learning unfold.
My students and I share a dream of an ideal learning space, and we know that there are people out there, like you, who have this dream too.
