My Students

Our school is a growing program with three orchestras, a competitive marching band, two jazz bands, two concert bands, a guitar class, AP theory, musical pit, and a spring pep band.

"Music is Life!!" as our student picked motto, states our students live, eat, and breathe music.

Students play in many outside groups, creating their own solo and ensemble groups. Our students are high performing in both music and the classroom. Many of the students in the music program take AP classes, and are involved in honors groups.

My Project

My students need a way to move stands between classrooms, we don't have a set place to rehearse. The racks will help increase rehearsal time, and cut down on transition time. As our school continues to grow in student population, but not physical space. With three orchestras, two jazz bands, two concert bands, AP theory, guitar and Marching band, we are often looking for a room to hold class in. We share space with the choir program, as well as the theater program. Each, are also growing programs.

Having a way to move equipment, will increase rehearsal time.

Moving 90 kids takes time. By having the stand rack we will be able to move all the stands at once and take fewer trips to get the classroom set up. They will also protect the equipment we have.
