This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The students attending my school are striving to reach a school rating of A+ 3 years in a row! It is all thanks to the teachers and students who put in all the hard work.
My 8th grade science students have so many inquisitive questions that they want to answer with labs!
The hands on learning and engagement received when labs are involved in class is amazing to see. Please help our class make scientific progress in these young minds even more!
My Project
My students can't wait to get their hands on technology! The balance scale and graduated cylinders are needed to calculate density of objects, which is a heavily tested subject on the Florida state assessments (FSA). The microscopes literally open up a whole new world to the student's eyes when viewing cells and bacteria. Microscope labs are always a top favorite in 8th grade science. The electrolysis machine can split compounds up and show how the ratio of elements are bonded together. Please help us fund our supplies wish list and know that these materials can and will be used for many years to come! Thank you for your consideration.
