Inside my classroom, you will see students that span across the Autism spectrum. Our school is located in a low income area in the Bronx.
Everyone in my classroom works hard to create a positive learning environment for the students.
In order for my classroom to run smoothly, we have a structured environment where students have clear visual boundaries for different areas. Each student learns differently and we adapt everything to meet their individual needs.
We strive hard for our students to succeed and become independent!

A classroom should be a calm and safe environment for every student that enters.
I want my students to love our classroom!
Kindergarten is an important year when students learn how to read and decode words. We are asking for a listening center and books to help move my students along with not only being able to read but also to be able to understand what they are reading. I want my students to me comfortable while they are learning, so we are asking for cushions and inflatable chairs for flexible seating. Number sense is also very important in Kindergarten. The crocodile hop floor game, and counting and learning mats will help my students understand numbers better.
