My Students

My middle school students vary in levels of maturity, ability, and academic needs, yet they all want to fit in and interact with one another. My students are ready and willing to be involved in their own learning, and need the opportunity for collaboration and interactive lessons with a mixture of strategies.

They are eager to have meaningful discussions about current events to further develop the skill of observing, debating, noticing, questioning, and investigation.

My middle school students enjoy viewing clips and videos, reading, writing, interacting, discovering, and cooperative learning. They will stay engaged for some time, if given the right environment and resources.

My Project

As energetic learners enter the classroom, the opportunity to sit comfortably in a balanced ball chair will provide appropriate movement while having fun learning.

By donating, you will not only help to improve focus and attention to task, you will help a child celebrate his/her special day.

I'm looking forward to seeing my students happy and ready to learn, especially during the week of their birthday!

The balanced ball will help students stay engaged and motivated to learn. The chair is mobile and will meet the needs of many students in my sixth grade classroom at H.B. Middle School.
