My students need BOSE Environmental Speakers in their Biology class. This would offer a pristine experience to watch Ecology videos and "Anatomy and Physiology Exploration" educational videos.
My students are mostly 9th grade students, who come from a variety of backgrounds and learning abilities. They benefit from hearing and seeing the information taught. They also benefit from using manipulatives. Most students in my classroom are middle-ability students who are active within their school environment. They may participate in Robotics, the band, or a sport.
The students are mostly college-bound students, who value education and enjoy coming to school.
They are polite and respectful of the district and its staff.
My Project
My high school students would love the surround-sound experience when we play review games with music, listen to informative videos about Cell Transportation, Biochemistry, and Bioenergetics interactive. It is important at the high school level to use technology such as these speakers in order to engage the student audience. I think I would be successful in using these.I currently do not have any speakers in my classroom, and any video or interactive that we do, I must narrate myself.
The students do not gain the same effect as if they were listening to the video.
During our Ecology units, it is important for the students to hear the animal calls, and the music is always engaging to them.
