Help me give my students voice in choice in who they are going to research, people who they look up to, that have inspired them and our world to be a better place!
My students are hard-working, inquisitive, and interested learners. They are the most empathetic group of kids I have ever met. They come to school every day ready to learn. They are kind, thoughtful, and caring to one another and to other students in the school.
They love to read, and love to learn math!
They make me so proud each and every day. I love to be their teacher. I look forward to seeing their smiling faces every morning as they come in and give me a hug!
They are some of the hardest-working kids I have ever met. I want to give them the best learning environment possible. I need these materials because I do not have enough options for my students to choose where they sit. These will give my students more opportunities to choose where they get to sit to learn!
My Project
Every year I teach my third graders how to research different topics. After they learn the process of researching, they get to do it on there own! Which in third grade, is a VERY exciting time. I am a strong believer in giving students voice and choice. I want them to be accountable for their learning, and self motivated. Which is why I want to give them choices of people, they want to learn about!

I am hoping to get books of many different people, that have changed our world in one aspect or another. Some books I have ordered are about Kamala Harris, Malala Yousafzai, Martin Luther King Jr., Simone Biles, Anne Frank, and Gandhi to name a few. These are all people my students have asked me about at some point this school year, I cannot wait to get these books into their hands!
