This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach in the historic third ward of Houston, TX. My students are brilliant, outspoken, and eager to engage in hands-on learning! My students deserve innovative practices, and we’re excited about DonorsChoose.org to help our dreams become a reality in our science class!

My Project

Time is of the essence in my classroom! Data-driven instruction is very important during our Science instructional block. During this time, my students engage in rigorous and engaging activities that are specifically geared towards their own learning needs. By having these carts readily available and organized, students will be able to grab and go to specific activities. Each bin will be organized with activities by a standard based on student data! Activities include, but are not limited to: task cards, board games, online recording sheets, and a variety of other tasks.
