Bins for Supplies

My students need places to store their supplies while moving about the classroom. The students have these fantastic new flower tables for flexible seating and could use book bins that are individualized for easy access.

My Students

This year I have an amazing class of 23 first grade students! They are enthusiastic and love learning. We are a growing elementary school that is strives to help our diverse learners in every way!

My 23 first graders spend much of their time moving around the classroom.

Book bins to add to our flexible seating model would be an amazing additional addition for them to be able to move about the classroom with while they are reading. These bins would contain everything they need and conforms to the new and improved classroom that is inviting for every type of learner!

My Project

The students use their book baggies daily and move about the classroom. These baggies include leveled readers that are frequently switched out for new books. Although, when doing this, their baggies often get holes in them.

My students could use a sturdy bin for these books and supplies to move about the classroom throughout the day.

With these bins, they would be clearly labeled and easy to switch books out for new ones. Book bins would be a perfect addition to this new trend in reading! The plastic zip-locks often break and often pose a problem for these eager reading first graders!
