Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach Pre-K students at a Title I campus in Houston. Our parents are loving and supportive of their children. They want their children to have the best education we can provide them. Most of my students are from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
My students need exposure to everything that being in school offers to them.
This is their first time in an educational setting and they are struggling because of the COVID Pandemic.
My Project
I have my books for my class on shelves. I want to store them in book bins. I want to be able to find them by their genre at a moments thought. I want to be organized and have all my books in one place. By having these book bins, I will have them labeled on the bins and stored on the shelves. Books are expensive and I don't want to have them laying around and not being able to find them when I need one to read to my students. These bins will be sturdy and used for many years to come.
