I teach in a blended classroom that includes student who are at-risk, special education students, and tuition students. Our building is an all preschool building which includes 24 classrooms, as well as 8 classrooms offsite in elementary schools within the district. In our building we take great pride in preparing the littlest learners for their educational journey and making their first school experience the BEST ever!!!
I strive to build a happy, healthy, safe, and caring environment where students can explore, learn, and grow.
My students learn through hands on experiences and play. I create a warm classroom community by celebrating the uniqueness and diversity of each student as well involving families in their child’s learning. I work hard to provide my students with experiences that will foster their love of school and help them to be successful.
My little bunch of learners are very unique and with differing needs, abilities, and family situations. It is amazing to watch their growth and progress throughout the year. I love my job and I hope to provide my students with new materials as we begin the new year.
My Project
The vibrant color storage bins are going to give my students a place to store their personal belongings independently in their cubby so they are not falling out on to the floor or getting mixed up with other students belongings. It will also give a sense of privacy to my students who need to store items such as diapers or wipes.
This project will provide students with their own personal storage space as well as help them to learn about personal property and be independent.
The students will be able to easily access their cubby bin and personal belongings when needed.
