Student Council members of our school are natural born Leaders. This group of young men and women support their peers daily by being positive role-models and proactive members in our community. This special group of children are always looking for ways to help others. Not only, do they willingly volunteer their time outside of school, but they excel academically. Our school is located in a rural area where 100% of the children in our school receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
Despite the personal hardships of my students, these children continue to strive for greatness and prove their outstanding ability.
In fact, our school has been so positive in finding every student's greatness, we were named the first "Lighthouse" school within the Leader In Me program in our area.
My Project
Positively impacting a student's learning takes more than just one teacher. It takes an entire community of parents, students, educators, and community members working together. Can you think of a better way to bring all of these people together than a fun-filled night of BINGO?
With you help, our Student Council will invite our local community, family, and students to come into the school for a dinner and a great time of playing bingo together.
During this time, teachers will be able to communicate the importance of working together and build a bond with parents leading to a successful year for every single student. All while Student Council members are volunteering their time of serving and learning the importance of organization and leadership.
In order for our night to be a success, we need your help by donating to this worthy cause of purchasing a table top bingo machine, disposable bingo cards, and highlighters for marking each card. This night will bring smiles from young to old.
