My Students

My kindergarten students motivate me to be the best for them every day. These students come to school with such eager hearts it humbles me to be their teacher. They are inquisitive, earnest and driven.

Our school is in a close-knit community, which is reflected in the compassion they show for one another in the classroom.

They are energetic and thoughtful. They are invested in one another and push each other to be better than they were the day before.

My Project

My students no longer have access to any technology. Due to COVID our computer lab has shut down. All of the devices that are in our class are so old and outdated, that none of our programs are supported!

With updated technology, my kindergarteners will have a chance to interact and manipulate during their learning in a way that paper and pencil will not allow.

It will reach students in ways I can only imagine. Struggling readers will get extra support and children who are exceptional will have another avenue to explore.
