Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a Title I school. Our school is centrally located in the middle of our town and is the oldest elementary school in our district. Past and current families have built lasting relationships with our school that have allowed them to capitalize and take advantage of provided resources and support regularly. We pride ourselves on being a vital component of the community. Our school is more than a school!

It takes a village to raise a child.

This is the motto at our school. Our mission at FES is dedicated to meet the academic and social needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds to ensure success beyond our doors. We welcome and greatly appreciate any assistance that allows us to meet all the needs of our students and their families.

My Project

We have hundreds of students who access our Zen Den on a daily basis. I would love to continue to create a safe, calming environment for all our students.

I would love to have these 2 oversized bean bag chairs to our Zen Den to add more flexible seating for our students.

We have a sofa and some stools already, these would be great additions to the space. Our students love the space and enjoy having options to move around the room. These Big Joe chairs would create a cozy corner for students to lounge, relax, and read.
