My preschool classroom is a part of a low-income school in Indianapolis. Students with special needs and English language learners are welcomed and included in all activities at my school.
My preschool students are so excited to come to school.
Drop- off includes lots of smiles, hugs, and high fives. It has been amazing to see their pride and self-esteem grow as they accomplish a new task. They are eager to learn, and I am proud to be a part of that learning.
My Project
Preschoolers love to build, especially if they can build something that they designed. Their structure will look different each time they build. It will be improved as they redesign and build again. Little engineers at work!
Preschoolers are born mathematicians.
Giving them the supplies to explore will encourage them to think about math in new ways. Being able to hold the math manipulatives will give them a firm understanding of mathematical concepts and develop concentration and perseverance skills.
Preschools love to create and do science experiments. We will use the liquid water color for both art and science.
