My Students

My Kindergarten classroom is full of energetic and curious learners. I teach at a Title One school where 100% of the students receive free/reduced lunch. The students live in an isolated area with little opportunity to explore outside of their community.

School is the place where they get the opportunity to learn about things they may not ever experience.

No matter what is going on at home they come to the classroom every day excited to be there and eager to learn.

My Project

Kindergarteners love books, especially big books. Big books are used daily in my kindergarten classroom. By having a Big Book Display Easel my students will be able to sit on the carpet and engage in many stories.

With your donation my students will be able to display big books and create a exciting way for them to read.

The Big Book Display Easel will also give my students a place to store their big books that will be easily reachable. This project will open up a variety of ways for many of my students to share their love of reading!
