Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I am the physical education teacher at my elementary school. My school is located in west Baltimore City. If you know anything about Baltimore City you have probably heard of the violence, poverty, homelessness, no jobs, this is the city itself so you can imagine the struggles in the school system. I am reaching out to try and help my students receive a top notch PE program.

My students do not have very much and are coming from a very tough environment, they deserve the tools to be able to help them get the best education possible.

My students need education to get out of the environment they are in, we teachers need to support them as best as we can. I need help to provide the best PE program because I do not get any budget what so ever for equipment. I am grateful for any help to support the students.

My Project

This extremely large ball is safe and durable for all the grade levels I teach. This ball is used in large group activities that cover all the skills we learn about. When my students learn about kicking or striking or hitting this ball is perfect to excite all the kids because its so big.

This ball is a great tool to excite and engage all my students during are activities.

The ball is so awesome and it is so versatile for all my students. If you can help, it makes such a difference in my physical education class, thank you.
