Help me give my students the best opportunity to compete against other schools in a Beta Group Talent competition! All of the items on the list will be used as costumes for our Wizard of Oz Talent.
I am one of the sponsors for our High School Beta Club. Our club is extremely involved in the community and enjoys competing in different competitions at the State Convention. This year at the State Convention we have decided to run a State Candidate and perform a Group Talent. Both of these competitions along with others we will be competing in cost money to make possible. We are looking to fund our costumes needed for the Group Talent through DonorsChoose.org. The students pay a certain amount and try to fundraise throughout the Fall to cover the cost of our competitions, but most times we are not able to cover the whole cost. That’s why we are asking for help to purchase the costumes this year. The students involved in the talent have been working so very hard and it would truly mean so much to them!
My Project
The materials we are needing will 100% help our students compete in a statewide talent competition at our upcoming Beta Convention! Without these costumes, the students that have been working so hard will not be able to compete. The students have put in so much work, effort, and dedication I know they will appreciate any support they receive! Our school is a low-income area school. The students that are involved in this club come from all different types of households. Without this project being fully funded we will not be able to compete. Please help me help my students step out of their comfort zone and give them the chance to do something they will remember forever!
