I teach fourth-grade students at a rural elementary school in the Appalachian region of Northeastern Kentucky. Most of my students struggle with poverty, and 75% of them qualify for free and reduced-price lunch. Moreover, I have students with special needs, who must overcome learning challenges. These students are talented, caring, and compassionate children, but they require extra assistance to reach their full potential. My students have so much to offer, and I love helping them grow and learn each day. I want to provide them with the basic classroom supplies they need to meet their academic goals.
My Project
My students need basic science supplies to function in the classroom. Our children need hands-on experiences to learn basic scientific principles. Your donation will provide these students with the hands-on manipulatives they need to be successful.
