Do you remember how sad it was when your crayons broke and your colored pencils got too small? Even with all of the technology students use in class today, they still need basic supplies each day. I teach a classroom full of happy, energetic fourth graders, and basic supplies are a necessity to get through each day. I also have students that need help with supplies at home when we are completing projects. My students love learning and always give me their very best!
Having extra supplies on hand will help reduce their anxiety and allow me to give assignments that stretch their creative minds!
My classroom is filled with students that have many different strengths and abilities. Each one has a unique talent or gift that they contribute to our classroom family. I want to provide them with what they need to be successful every day!
My Project
We often have projects to complete, and many students depend on me to provide needed supplies. Having the basic supplies available allows for other funds to be focused on different materials. The colored paper and construction paper will be used for completing a variety of projects throughout our coursework. Clipboards will be used as students use flexible seating around the room. We use sticky notes for many different activities across our curriculum. Lastly, colored pencils are often preferred by fourth grade students over crayons. Colored pencils allow for more detailed work on projects. These donations will allow my students to do their very best, creative work.
