My Students

I teach at a Title I school with more than 1,000 students from very low-income families. 100% of them are receiving free breakfast and lunch. My class is a third grade ICT class with students from different countries.

Every day my students are looking for new ways to learn and apply those experiences to their daily life.

In order for them to have the same learning opportunities, we are looking for new technology tools to help them succeed in school and for the rest of their lives.

My Project

I am requesting one BrainPOP Jr. license. The characters on Brain Pop Jr. are entertaining and enjoyable. The educational videos will keep my students' interest and focus on the topic during the lesson. Each lesson is accompanied with a quiz which can be taken as an entire class using our projector or individually on the classroom computers. Brain Pop Jr. also has interactive activities that my students will love. My students will be practicing skills and not even realize that they are learning!

This project will enhance my classroom by keeping my students interested in what they are learning.

They will be introduced to new concepts in a fun and engaging way. I will be able to review materials that have already been taught using interactive activities and quizzes. My students will soar to new heights while having fun! That's what learning is all about.

Students need to be interested in what they are learning, and Brain Pop Jr. offers a great way to make learning about a new topic exciting. This subscription will allow me to begin health, science, art, ELA, and social studies lessons in an interesting way, will allow them to explore topics on they own and in groups, and will keep my third graders eager and motivated to learn!
