Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are ambitious, goal-oriented, and full of questions! They love projects that are both challenging and engaging that allow them to think outside the box. My students come from a low social, economic background. More than 90% of our students receive free lunch. Despite the adversities, they come to school each day ready to try new things. They are my inspiration!

My Project
This has been a turbulent year for all of us. The switch from in-person teaching to remote has emphasized the importance of technology. I am requesting an iPad to provide my students with engaging lessons.
Student engagement on remote days can be challenging.
I strive to make my lessons, both engaging and rigorous. With so many academic platforms and tools to use online, an iPad will be the perfect tool to connect students and promote student engagement.
The iPad will help me improve my skills as a teacher. It will make my lessons, both engaging and interactive for the students. As an educator, I am determined to create a learning environment that fosters critical thinking and encourages collaboration.
