My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration! I would love to inspire this creativity by making my classroom safe and comfortable. I want my students to be able to come into the classroom and feel calm and peaceful.
My Project
I want to create a soft, calm, and peaceful learning environment. I want inspirational art to be the key focus. This art will help encourage all students to know they are welcome and we work better together. The soft muted colors will help with student social-emotional learning. My goal is to develop a classroom environment that develops the student’s character of kindness. Succulents will help with providing a calming aesthetic learning environment. My students' social-emotional development will prosper in this calm and peaceful classroom. They will love it!
