This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my class are very hyperactive. They tend to move a lot and need a lot of space. The like to move around and I do a lot of activities that need them to be able to move around.

My students are very intelligent, respectful and outgoing.

The need a lot of attention and physical movement. They get bored if they don’t move constantly.

Many of my students come from a low social economic status and very little support.

My Project

I have a small classroom and large class sizes. the desks in my classroom make it really uncomfortable for my students because they have to be sitting very close to each other.

These surf desks will help me give them better and more flexible sitting for effective learning and collaboration.

since they will have more space, the students will be more comfortable. if the students feel comfortable they will have better learning outcome because they will be focused on what they are doing and not on what others are doing.
