Every day seeing their faces just makes me want to create an even better space for them to learn. I want my students to dive into a classroom that is full of wonder and joy, but most of all creativity.
I am a First-grade French teacher at an immersion charter school that allows a parent to choose whether to put their child in Spanish or French.
The school is in Norman Oklahoma, and really gives the kids an extraordinary experience. The school accepts everyone with open arms, because we understand that all children deserve the best education that they can possibly get. Personally, my wish is to give students the best shot at achieving their dreams.
All children are not born and raised in the same environment, but all of them should have an equal opportunity to gain knowledge.
My students love to come to school everyday and they enjoy learning language arts, math, science, social studies vocabulary in French. We always integrate math with language arts.
They can see learning in action. This causes the learning concepts to be more concrete. The magic boards make writing more fun, while those builder tools create imagination, patterns, and geometric concepts. My students will love to make Pick- A- Problem Math Warm-up as our morning Trivia Time.
My first graders love to feel with their little hands which helps to enhance their curiosity and inquiry.
Games help to broaden their thinking, creativity and collaboration.
We would love to have those requests in our classroom to eliminate boredom in learning.
