This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the last year and half my students have been impacted tremendously. My students come from a low income area and don't have many resources. Many of my students only can read at school.

I am requesting books for our classroom library.Having a new updated classroom library will provide my students will more books at their level.

They won't have the 20 year old outdated books that are either too easy or too hard for them.

This new library will help bring confidence back along with helping to close the intense reading level gab that has rocked our community. For students that don't have access to any reading books at home, these books could be "checked out" for students to take home to continue to strengthen their reading levels. Please help my students and community!
