Help me give my students a positive message with Put In Cups signage reassuring all BES Bears belong in our school and we're committed to helping them develop socially, emotionally, developmentally, academically, and physically to their maximum potential.

My students are like bears that are found in the wilderness throughout the world. My students are multi-faceted individuals just like bears. They are highly evolved social individuals with great intelligence. My students like bears share great friendships, are resourceful, and very secure with who they are. Like bears, they display very predictable behaviors. Just like bears are not mean or malicious...my students are very gentle ad tolerant individuals. My students like momma bears are affectionate, protective, devoted, sensitive, and attentive with each other and younger siblings. My students like bears can be empathetic, joyful, playful, social, and altruistic. They are individuals and have unique personalities. My students like bears live in rich and complex worlds...they are excellent listeners, see the world in color, are fast to learn, are strong and powerful. My students vary just like bears...they have different personalities. My students remind me what makes each of them special like Asiatic Bears, Black Bears, Brown Bears, Giant Pandas, Polar Bears, Sloth Bears, Spectacled Bears, and Sun Bears. All of our Bears are as cuddly as your favorite teddy bear.
"Bears are beautiful, sentient beings with a sense of community...they're polite, empathetic, peaceful & thoughtful just like us!"
Being a small community school, it is important that we promote a positive welcoming message to our students, parents, teachers, and community members. The message that we would like to spread throughout the community is that our school or den is a safe place for all our Bears grade K through 4. We want parents to know that our school or den is a safe, nurturing, welcoming place where all of our Bears are accepted and respected. We want our Bears to know that there are caring adults or momma and poppa bears who are dedicated and devoted to their safety and learning as well as willing to protect them when they can’t be with their own grown-ups. We want teachers to feel valued as professionals, who are attentive to our young Bears. We want the community members to realize that we are vested in their community and share their sense of pride. The Put-In Cups signage displaying our school name and mascot will not only send a positive message but also share our expectations for our Bears: "Believe, Earn and Give Respect, Always Prepared, Ready to Learn and Safe.”
