"Every child can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way." - George Evans. As a teacher of students with special needs, I believe that each one of my students can succeed they just need a little extra support along the way.
I have six students ranging from kindergarten to 2nd grade.
They face a variety of different challenges on a daily basis, but they never let it get in their way. They come into school every day with a smile on their face and excited to learn. They love interacting with their peers and strive to do their best.
My Project
With these resources my students will not only be able to better access the curriculum but interact and engage in their own learning. They will be able to engage in fun learning activities about numbers, letters, colors, and shapes by using the Learning Journey and Kaplan educational toys. The bean bags and poly dots will allow them to participate in a variety of educational movement activities with their classmates and make learning more fun. The wiki sticks will help them to learn to write and strengthen their fine motor skills.
Any donations made to my classroom will be thoroughly appreciated.
These donations will broaden the world of learning for my students and help them to succeed in their own learning.
