My students need about everything from basic hygiene materials to classroom supplies/materials. Our order reflects the things we use on a daily basis as well as during those occasional uh-oh moments.

Hello-
Thanks for visiting my Donors Choose webpage and considering a donation!
I am to describe my students and what I love about them in 2-3 short paragraphs. This poses an issue as each and every one of them are unique, inspiring, and most of all- more than worth it. I currently have a caseload of 22 students who each have a different need when they arrive at school every day. These kids work with what they have, both at home and at school, but I'm always wanting to give them more in life. Their needs fall in many categories from basic hygiene, lacking school supplies, hunger (unfortunately), and learning/academics.
I have the blessing of working with 2 teacher's aids who come in giving 110% to the students each and every day, who also can't be thanked enough. They work to be resourceful and to find a way each day. But, along with my students deserving more, they deserve more as well.
My Project
Some days the biggest challenge we face with our students is making sure that they have the basic supplies that are needed for their classes or a granola bar in their stomach to make sure that they're not going to class hungry and can focus.
We work endlessly trying to meet the needs of our students and they are ever so appreciative when we are able to give it to them.
Having these materials in a necessary quantity makes all the difference in their mood, achievement, and outlook on school in general.
Just like our students, we need help every now and then and have decided to reach out to get it. Some of the materials we are asking for or more of are:
- Granola bars
- School supplies (erasers, pencils, folders)
- Enrichment supplies (Scholastic subscription)
- Sanitizing products (Clorox wipes, Mr. Clean sponges)
- Hygiene products (Wet wipes, deodorant-puberty can be an interesting time)
We are given $100 (which we are very thankful for) for the entire school year to cover the materials we will need, but that doesn't go far when each student has a different need to be met all year long.
Our end goal is to have these materials in the necessary quantity available to us when we need them, provide resources
