More than half of students from low‑income households

My students need basic hygiene products. I also want to have some shoes on hand for students who their shoes break during the day.
Basic essentials are sometimes difficult. Having shoes that aren't falling apart, a coat when it's cold, or even a snack for after school. Many of my students eat most of their meals at school. I worry about them on the weekends.
I can't tell you how many kids I have taken their shoes and tried to super glue them to stay together for one more day.
This is heart breaking! At times I have bought items for students. I can't do all of it alone.
I often try to glue shoes back together for students who are sent to school with broken shoes. Many of the shoes are in terrible shape. I just want to be able to help a little bit.
I am asking for basic hygiene products and a few pairs of shoes to give to students in need.
Many of my students for whatever reason are unclean and stand out amongst the other students for being smelly. If this would help them not be embarrassed, it is worth it. I just want to have these supplies on hand in case it is needed.
