My Students

I have a group of 24 wonderful 2nd graders. We are from a small town in southern Indiana. We are a high poverty school and I have a wide range of abilities within the classroom. My students come to school each day greeting me with a smile ready to learn.

I have high expectations of my students, and each student works hard to achieve success.

Your donation will help provide materials that will allow the students to be more successful every day.

My Project

The book bins will be used to organized our classroom library. The bins will allow students to easily locate different genres of books and topics they are interested in. When students can find high-interest titles quickly and easily, they enjoy reading more.

The more organized students are the better chance they have of being successful in school!

The At-Your-Seat Storage Sacks will give students a place to put all of their essential supplies. There is a small pocket for pencils, scissors, and erasers. A larger pocket on the bottom can be used to store notebooks and/or textbooks. Students will have everything they need to be successful within arms reach throughout the day.
