My classroom is a place where all of my students are accepted and loved. We spend our days sharing stories, learning new things and laughing when we can. I also do whatever I can to make them feel important and respected.
I am working in a small, Title I school in a rural area.
My students are full of energy and love to work together to get things done! I want my classroom to meet the needs of all of my different learners so everyone has an equal chance to succeed!
My Project
These flexible seating options will give my students more choices to be comfortable! The inflatable cushions will be used as floor options for them to sit anywhere in the room. The portable lap desks will be a great seating option for my students to sit anywhere, even with their computers! These seating options will help my students learning by making them comfortable in the classroom.
More space for my students is the most important thing!
With the new desk, I will be able to take up less space in the room for the students to be able to find a spot in the room. Using the Qball, I will be able to engage my students in new and exciting ways! When teaching a lesson, I will be able to get the students wanting to respond to me by throwing the microphone to them.
All of these things will be a great addition to our classroom for the new year!
