My Students

I teach at a rural high school that is growing like crazy but does not have the money to keep up with the growth that is happening. We offer the regular science classes along with several dual credit classes that provide college level work for a lot of our students.

We also offer several elective courses that also are committed to offering the academic rigor that students need and deserve.

These classes are intended for those kids that are not going to pursue a science career after high school.

With that being said, my goal is to provide things that will make these kids life long learners.

My Project

The thirty books I am asking your help to get will supplement the limited materials we have right now. "The Genius of Bird" is a book that is full of stories about bird behavior. These stories are going to excite a lot of kids about birds and I know it is going to create a majority of people that are going to be excited about spending time outdoors.

With you generosity you will be helping me create life long learners.

I can show them how to identify birds but this book will be the start of showing them how to learn about birds.
