Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a first grade inclusion teacher in Lawrence, MA. In my classroom there are twenty students, five girls and fifteen boys. I currently have nine students on IEPS an two students being referred for special education services. I also I have five students who are ELLs.
I am looking for literacy materials as well as behavior management tools in the hope of accommodating my 10 out of 20 students who are on IEPs.I have an amazing group of students who will be very grateful for any donations!
My Project
These materials will meet the needs of all students! The timers and clocks will help students rejoin the class after scheduled breaks. The literacy phone will help further develop their reading fluency and comprehension. The white board will be beneficial to targeting the needs of students in small groups.
By donating to this project, you will be helping students increase their academic achievement as well as social awareness/ learning.
By implementing these tools into students daily routine, the students will increase their overall success in and outside of school. My students and I are thankful for any donations that you are able to make!
