This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are here because they are loved and ready to learn! Our class is full of 30 fun loving, energetic scholars who try their best to be the best. They give their best daily to receive the best life possible for their future. They understand that the world needs them to succeed. I love guiding them through the process of learning. The students are engaged in learning and are excited to explore the world around them. My students are awesome!

My Project

These social emotional learning books will help my students to understand how to act and behave in school and in the world. The Learning to Get Along Book Set will keep us on track as we are learning tools to help with the social emotional learning process. Our students are learning how to show respect, share, talk out problems, and so much more! Having these books will help them to think about, discuss, and practice skills that will help them become responsible citizens. These books will teach kindness, manners, and how to explore and express feelings. I will be using these books during our morning community circles as ways to introduce citizenship topics to the students.
