My students need to start the school year off in style. We are in need of a new rug, filing cabinet, and book shelf. My students also need basic supplies to begin the school year.
My students deserve the best education possible. They are extremely talented, energetic fourth graders, who always seem to put out their best effort in all that they do.
This year's fourth graders live in Manhattan's Chinatown.
They are superstars! Many of them are English language learners and students with disabilities. Many live in single parent homes and receive free or reduced-price lunches. No matter what they face each and every day they give it their all each and every day!
My Project
My students are in need of a new rug. Our rug is at the center of my students' learning. My students all congregate to the rug throughout the day to learn, lay and have valuable conversations. A new book shelf to hold supplies and a filing cabinet to hold student files would help organize our classroom.
The new school supplies are necessary for my students to learn with.
Each student will receive a folder for Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The new pencil sharpener will help keep the pencils sharp and pointy.
As the school year continues my students will learn. However at the end of each and every day our goodbyes happen on the rug.
