My Students

My 1st-grade​ students are hard workers who love reading, writing, and learning math. Our school serves military families in a rural town located near a military Base in North Carolina. They enjoy classroom lessons and are attentive and patient.

Our school is a Title I school and we often do not receive funding for classroom materials to enhance learning.

My students are an amazing group of children who are excited to come to school to do their best. I would like to provide my students with the opportunity to grow and continue to succeed.

My Project

My students are new to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) projects and the Wonder Workshop Dash Robot and Wonder Pack are tools that will help them have fun while learning how to code.

Introducing coding in such a fun way will stimulate our student's interest in the STEM subjects early, which can help them discover a curiosity that will motivate them to further pursue other STEM project areas.

My students will be excited and will want to explore deeper into engineering and programming as they can use the skills they learn with future robotics programs and other coding projects that we will be creating.
