My Students

My students create a family at our school. We are a performing arts family (bands, choirs, strings, theatre, and dance) that support each other on the stage, in the classroom and beyond. We are a NJ high school, just outside NYC, servicing a multicultural population of students from varying socioeconomic backgrounds. We strongly believe that the arts can instill positive change, transform, inspire and change lives.

The Music program is a powerful unifier in our school.

We are going to build this program over a strong foundation and proud history and generations of art students at RHS.

My Project

Our students love to perform! Even in this crazy new situation of online learning, they are yearning for the best ways that we can communicate and come together as a music class.

The requested technology and tools will make our online classes more impactful and encourage better student achievement in our music classes.

The phone grip and light source will provide a stable platform to run our online classes. The white background will make the present material pop to the audience. The piano bench will replace a kitchen chair and assist in our music classroom when school restarts. These tools will be invaluable for the next few months.
