My Students

Our school has been a Title I school for nine years now. We have a very mixed population of ethnicity and cultures. The teachers and students in our school have high expectations for themselves and hold each other to high standards in both behavior and learning. We have a few extra curricular clubs on campus. One is the CIA (Character in Action) as well as UIL events.

We pride ourselves on innovation and on doing what is best for students.

We know students learn in different ways and we believe strongly in doing what is right for students.

My Project

BES Robotics/STEM clubs are busting at the seams! So many of our students have applied to be a part of the group, however, we are limited by the amount of resources available for their use. In order to maximize the students' learning, we need to build our library of resources in order to expand our clubs.

At BES, we recognize that teaching students to code is not a luxury but a necessity for student success in future careers.

With the use of the Ozobots, students in Robotics/STEM club will learn basic coding and enhance their logical reasoning to create and design interactive learning tools.

It doesn't hurt that they will be having fun while learning.
