My students need Bee-Bots, programmable robots, to help them develop problem-solving skills, creative thinking skills, and basic coding skills.
This project expired on September 28, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
As a kindergarten teacher, one of the best aspects of my job is watching my students learn through interacting with one another and the world around them. Kindergarten students are excited to learn and experience new things. Each day is a new adventure!
Each activity is a new chance to grow and learn!
The students need to learn how to think creatively, problem solve, and interact with others. They are excited to share with others what they have learned and usually always have a smile on their faces.
In today's world, computers and technology are a part of everyday life. Students are exposed to technology at a very young age. Everywhere they turn technology is present. Students need to be comfortable with all types of technology.
Bee-Bots allow students to learn basic coding skills and develop problem-solving skills in a fun non-threatening way.
The students are learning basic coding but they just think that they are having fun. Bee-Bots teach students to think through steps in a clear sequential manner, create a plan, then carry out the plan to meet the goal. These skills are critical when using technology, and in life in general!
