My students need a World Edition classroom subscription to Little Passports. My students will receive passports and a chance to learn about six different countries around the world.

The students at our school are very determined and want to be successful. They come from homes that range the socioeconomic spectrum with a large percentage of them at or below the poverty line. Within this range, the students come from different life experiences and a range of opportunities, or with some, the lack of, in the local communities. Surrounding two sides of the school, there are many students living at or below the poverty line, and on the other side, there are students in homes above the poverty line.
It is our responsibility to level the educational playing field when the students come to school each day.
To help level the educational playing field, it may mean making opportunities accessible in their hands that they have not experienced before, it may mean helping them feel safe, or it may mean helping them stay focused in order for them to be successful.
Most students in our school haven't visited out of our city. A World Edition classroom subscription would give my students an opportunity to learn about six other countries from around the world. It will give them a chance to experience the differences between ourselves and students from other countries.
I would love to give my students an experience that would broaden their horizons and let them "see" what it is like in different countries around the world.
This subscription would allow me to enhance my literacy and social studies instruction and make it more interesting for my students. My hopes are that my students will want to continue to learn about other places around the world as well.
