Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Fluency is a skill that is needed for all life endeavors. If you can't give a speech without starting and stopping every 5 seconds, you will not make it in this world today. My students are hungry for fluency!
My students come from underprivileged areas and come to school not even being able to repeat simple kindergarten and 1st grade words, however, they are in the 3rd and 4th grade.
They want to learn and have this hunger for an education and to make something of themselves.
My Project
My students will use these materials in small group with other students or one-on-one with myself. They will use them also independently to challenge themselves academically. These materials will exceptionally build their ability to read and make them more confident readers and people.
